Located in the northern part of the country, the trek offers stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range, including the iconic Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre peaks. The trek starts from the bustling town of Pokhara, which is known for its serene Phewa Lake and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It takes 5-9 days to complete the trek.

    • Trek Description

From Pokhara, the trek takes you through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages.

You'll have the opportunity to see a variety of flora and fauna along the way, including rhododendron forests, waterfalls, and a wide range of bird species.

The trail also passes by the Mardi Himal Base Camp, where you'll have the chance to get up close and personal with the stunning Annapurna mountain range.

One of the highlights of the Mardi Himal trek is the breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset over the Annapurna range. The best time to experience this spectacle is during the autumn and spring seasons, when the weather is clear and the skies are free of clouds.

The trek also offers the opportunity to experience the local culture and way of life, as you'll pass through several traditional villages along the way.

The Mardi Himal trek is suitable for hikers of all levels, as the trail is well-marked and easy to follow. However, it's important to be prepared for the altitude, as the trail reaches a maximum elevation of 4500 meters (14 764 feet).

It's also a good idea to hire a local guide, who can provide valuable information about the trail and the local area.

Overall, the Mardi Himal trek is an amazing experience that offers something for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned trekker or a beginner, this trek is sure to provide you with memories that will last a lifetime.
