The monsoon season lasts from June to September, with high amounts of rainfall, making the park wet and muddy, with heavy rain and thunderstorms.


      The best time to visit Chitwan National Park is from October to March, during the dry season, with mild and pleasant weather, and temperatures averaging between 25-30°C (77-86°F) during the day and around 10-15°C (50-59°F) at night. It is an ideal time for outdoor activities, such as jungle walks, elephant safaris, and bird watching tours. The skies are generally clear with plenty of sunshine, making it perfect for photography and sightseeing. However, this is also the peak tourist season, so it's advisable to book accommodations and activities in advance.


      From April to June, temperatures start to rise, and it can become hot and humid, with occasional thunderstorms. During this time, temperatures can range from 30-40°C (86-104°F), and it may not be ideal for outdoor activities. However, if you don't mind the heat and want to avoid the crowds, this can still be a good time to visit.
