    The trek to the Shiva Statue in Pokhara is a popular activity for visitors to the city. Located on a hilltop overlooking the city, the Shiva Statue is a large and impressive statue of the Hindu deity Shiva, and offers stunning views of the Annapurna range and the Phewa Lake.     • Trek Description

      We start our trek to Lord Shiva Statue with a relaxing boat ride on the tranquil waters of the Phewa Lake in Pokhara. The stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the World Peace Pagoda provide a peaceful and calming atmosphere.


      After the boat ride, we embark on a hike to the World Peace Pagoda, a symbol of peace overlooking the lake. We will take in the peaceful surroundings as we hike to the pagoda and enjoy its serene atmosphere.


      Next, we continue our hike to the summit to admire the impressive Shiva Statue, which stands at 15 meters (49,2 feet) tall and is the highest in Nepal. The statue boasts intricate details and a serene expression and provides breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. We take photos of the statue and the surrounding landscape, creating unforgettable memories.


      Finally, we hike back down to Pokhara, taking in the natural beauty of the area and experiencing the rich culture of Nepal. Our hike to the World Peace Pagoda, Shiva Statue and back to Pokhara is an adventure filled with breathtaking views, peaceful atmospheres, and warm hospitality.

      Pokhara and its surroundings, experience a range of temperatures throughout the year, from cool in winter to warm in spring and autumn. 


      Winter temperatures (December-February) average 15°C (59°F) during the day and 5°C (41°F) at night, with occasional frost and light snowfall in higher elevations. 


      In spring (March-May), temperatures average 20°C (68°F) during the day and 10°C (50°F) at night, and there is some rainfall due to the approaching monsoon season. 


      During the monsoon season (June-September), the city experiences heavy rainfall and high humidity, with average temperatures of 25°C (77°F) during the day and 20°C (68°F) at night. 


      In autumn (October-November), the weather cools down and dries out, making it a great time to visit.
